History

An interesting thatched property, parts of which date back to the 16th Century took on its current Cottage Orne style in the early 1800s and a tea gardens operated within the grounds from the latter part of that century through to its closure in 1999. Dunnose Cottage was listed in 1992, Grade II for much of it’s Cottage Orne detailing.

Dunnose Magna traded previously as The Lettuce Leaf Tea Gardens and later as Dunnose Cottage.
Significant changes were undertaken by the previous owners during the early part of the millennium turning the property back to a private house and completing the west wing extension when it was renamed Dunnose Magna. Bill and Jayne purchased the house during the summer of 2010.
